Looking for collaborators

I would really love to develop this project much further and am looking for collaborators. If you want to give it a shot, just respond to this issue.

I really love the idea behind this project. I was actually planning on making something like it. I am interested in collaborating.
Welcome @elijahawork ! I'm really looking forward to collaborating with you.
What are your interests and skills? (e.g. UI design, Python development, Docker magic, ...) Is there anything in particular that you'd be really interested in?
I think the first step would be cloning this repository and seeing if you can get it to run. Hopefully it should work without any major issues. After that, it would probably be a good idea to set up some decent form of communication (e.g. Discord, Gitter, Telegram,...)
I do have an interest in UI design, but mostly I just want to amplify the capabilities of what this project can achieve in regards to the complexity of math that it can represent. Most of my interest lies in the math aspect of it: making its functionality allow for more. @stefnotch
@elijahawork Sounds great! Yes, QuantumSheet definitely needs more capabilities like integration, solving differential equations, vector and matrix support, defining custom functions, ...
The most relevant parts here would be
ExpressionElement.vue
The mathematical expression editor that uses mathliveexpression-element.ts
The "model" behind itpyodide-cas.ts
The part that translates expressions to Python and communicates with the pyodide/sympy web workerpyodide-worker.js
The pyodide/sympy web worker
Tell me when you have gotten it up and running locally. Also, which form of communication would you prefer? (GitHub issues? Or a Discord server? Or something different?)
A discord server would work for me. I'll be trying to set the code up now. Tell me when you want to discuss it. I'm excited to work on it.
Ok, I created a Discord server https://discord.gg/xatHjgW
I usually am online from 7 AM (GMT) to 7 PM (GMT), according to https://www.thetimezoneconverter.com/. I'm looking forward to discussing it and then working on it with you!
@elijahawork Just a little follow up, any luck setting up the code? Furthermore, I'd like to discuss it as soon as possible on the Discord server.
@stefnotch I'm interested in the project but I'm not sure how much I could actually contribute. I'm useless at UI design but would be interested in helping with the python/math side of things.
@TomCallan Welcome! Simply join the Discord server and ping me :)
@elijahawork Are you currently busy or are the Discord notifications not working properly or...? I thought I'd ask, after all it's been a week since you sent a message on Discord.
@elijahawork Would you have time this weekend (anytime between between 07:00 AM - 02:00 PM CDT)? If yes, please let me know when.
If you prefer the morning, I suppose 07:30 AM CDT would work. Please ping me on Discord or GitHub tomorrow and then we can talk!
Me. Maybe.
