cursor for first element is lost on navigation after multiselect

With this installed
when I select multiple occurrences of a pattern using cmd-d
and proceed to navigate using arrow keys
then the first cursor is lost.

After looking through the code, I became suspicious that this was a glitch - seems atom messed up internally and resetting cleared the issue.
