Is there a way to hide the navigation bar in addition to status? I tried using the sample code linked below- it works for my activity but the navigation bar comes back when viewing images.

Good catch, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, I didn't foresee this one when was creating this library, but it'll be implemented in the next version as well. Stay tuned! ;)
