Setting: Reset time manually instead of automatically

I'd like a setting that, when activated, prevents the clock from resetting automatically when it has counted down to zero. When this "manual" mode is active, I can reset/restart the clock by simply tapping/clicking anywhere.

Hm, the alert setting combined with F5 kinda already covers my needs. But I'd like the clock to start when I hit OK in the alert, rather than keep ticking in the background.
