Not behaving correctly after repair

Tractor: Valtra 8750
Tool: PW 640 ASL Master (roller) (mod)
Map: Elmcreek
I made a configuration change to the roller and when I came out of the repair menu the tool was not connected to the tractor as is standard practise. However when I pressed "Q" to reconnect it also connected the hydraulic hoses without needing to long press "Z"
Clearly this is not the normal behaviour for the mod.
Possibly the way the game is disconnecting tools during repair caused it to not behave correctly when being reattached?
(I've never raised an issue before, apologies if I've made any mistakes)
