Show contact picture in notification

Not sure what ChitChat's policy is on feature requests, so apologies if this is the wrong place - it would be really useful to have a contact's picture show up in the notification spawned by a message from them (currently it's just the ChitChat icon). From what little I know about OSX's notification API this should be possible.
Love this app, by the way. Wish I knew Objective-C so I could contribute properly. Kudos!
