Problem description

Notepad2 has a lot better/more intuitive sorting panel

Dialogs like that are against Sublime Text's design philosophy. These things are better done through the command palette and/or keyboard shortcuts.

I get that, despite it causes state explosion.
I see that Logical number sorting is the default, which is fair.

And how to do:

  • Remove unique lines
    it's useful when doing manual excel data handling.

I don't think we have a way to do that, nor do I know of a package that does that. Personally I'd say that's so niche that a script or custom plugin would be best; it seems no more likely to be useful than similar things like "remove all lines that occur exactly twice", "remove lines that occur an odd number of times", or countless others.
