Limit functionality for speed.

Hi, thanks for all the work on this.
I was wondering if it would be possibly to switch off unneeded functionality in order to potentially speed up the gem? For instance, I only need to know how many errors are in the block of text, not which words, suggestions or definitions. Would this be possible?
