Are there any plans to refactor sudo in rust

I don't know what the maintainers of the sudo project think of the rust language, and whether there are plans to use rust language to refactor the sudo project.

What do you think of the sudo-rs project?

I'm familiar with the sudo-rs project and have been in contact with some of the developer there. For now I have no plans to convert the existing sudo project to rust. Sudo runs on many platforms that are not supported by rust (and never will be) and there is value in having a version of sudo that can run on any modern-ish Unix-like system.
