When pinning a tab, separator goes missing

When i pin a tab with a double click, the right separator goes missing. I can reproduce this reliable by double clicking an unpinned tab to pin it, and then select another tab without hovering or clicking the newly pinned tab. Once i hover the tab, the separator is there.
This does not happen when using the right click menu version Firefox has as stock way to pin tabs. I guess you only need to redraw the tab bar, though i have no idea how to do that.
Note the pinned google tab next to the amazon tab.
