changelogo doesn't work with 1.02.07

I realize I should not have updated, but the shuffle feature on usb play did get somewhat fixed with the new update, which was nice-ish. Changelogo no longer works. Is is something as easy as the revision number in one of the files is the old one, so it doesn't work? Or maybe the flash location has changed...?

I would also like to change logo only. Nag screen is not a problem anymore and update had many small fixes.

@hmsducky @stirkac guys, could you please describe the improvements of the new FW version? I'm quite afraid to upgrade as

  1. previously I've got infamous bootloop (updateloop) on 50% during update and I'm glad I managed to successfully recover and update the unit at last

  2. I hate the nag screen and I love having it off

So I'm really interested in these little fixes in 1.02.07 as sadly there is almost nothing mentioned in the changelog (apart from nag screen auto-ack)

  • how was the shuffle on usb fixed? I now have only shuffle across whole usb device and I'm unable to shuffle files only in folder - how is this in the 1.02.07 update?
  • how quickly goes the nag screen off in the 1.02.07. I know it now goes off automatically, however I don't know how quickly. If it is 30 seconds (which still would be annoying for me) or something like 5 seconds (which sounds acceptable)

Thank you guys and sorry for somewhat hijacking the thread.

I downgraded so I could have the custom logo, so i can't help with the update info...

Got it. But you said

but the shuffle feature on usb play did get somewhat fixed

Don't you remember by any chance what exactly did you mean?

Well the way shuffle works on .06 is that you'll hear the same like 10 songs ALL THE TIME. I got around that by getting a program that could batch change file names so every once in a while I could manually "shuffle" my music and listen without having to deal with the windows 95 era shuffle tech of Sony

I must have noticed that the shuffle worked a little better in .07 It could have also been placebo effect of course
