Import SVG file?

Can this library be used for importing an SVG file, say one made in Inkscape?
If so, could you please provide an example of how it's done?

Yes indeed it can. You can test the plugin on this page: http://svgjs.com/import. Just make sure you export "Plain SVG" from Inkscape.
