Install should use /usr/local/bin rather than /usr/local

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run installer
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: /usr/local/bin/git
Actual: /usr/local/git
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.7.2 on OS X 10.6.4

This makes it more difficult to uninstall.
