Launch at Login not working as expected

Opened this issue · 2 comments

Describe the bug
Hello, I have an issue with the Launch at Login option but not as you would expect.

I have the option switched off because I want to only launch SwiftBar when I need it but even with the option toggled off, it will still launch at login, and I can find what would trigger the launch. When rebooting my Mac I don't select the reopen every window either.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Not sure how I got in this situation, but probably something like this :

  1. Activate Launch at login
  2. Verify that SwiftBar launch at login
  3. Disable launch at login
  4. Reboot and it will still launch

Expected behavior
Launch at login toggled off should make SwiftBar not launch at login.

Environment:

  • macOS version: Sequoia 15.0.1 (24A348)
  • SwiftBar version: 2.0.0 (520)

Just to be clear - you deselect "Reopen windows when logging back in" when promted by macOS before reboot?

Yes, I have tried both and no change.
