Issue: The abline that was drawn in the left plot disappears when the right plot is drawn.

Figure 1: Screenshot after the abline(h = median(x0sub, na.rm = TRUE), lwd = 2) command is executed at 66% progress. The abline is successfully drawn on the left plot.
left-plot

Figure 2: Screenshot after the plot(dates1, x1sub, pch = 20) command is executed at 67% progress. The abline has disappeared from the left plot.
right-plot
