[Question] Are google's folders/labels supported?

I've been trying to set up Sylpheed as a naive mail client (I'm trying to move from Windows 11 native Mail app): a mailbox per account structure. Unfortunately, after reading available FAQs and the documentation I failed to grasp how to achieve what I want. The best I managed is mapping default inboxes.
Is it possible to copy online structure to local storage? Where can I read about it?

I've chosen the "question" label, but it looks like it did not apply.

I don't see how to make a localfolder for storage but you can make a new mailbox then create matching folders inside then manually copy stuff over. It's ... tedious. I'm looking if filters will do this but it looks like that will be in bulk not per message. Maybe filter based on read? Ah the joy. Seamonkey does this easily but has some annoyances, like getting crusty and old and has no dark mode.

Ugh filters are so limited. I can't create a general purpose one for use on the 10 accounts I have. It's weirdly constrained. I can't just make a filter I have to create it from an email?? Yea this will have to wait...
