As of the https://github.com/symfony/symfony-docs, we should create a 2.2 branch and use master for 2.3 version.

You're right, but I'm alone. As the former team does not have time any more, we have accumated a lot of delays and all our branches are not up to date any more. So, the idea would be at least to maintain the master branch up to date (if you have time ;). I would not create a 2.2 branch since we won't be able to maintain it.

Ok I understand, so the master is for 2.2 for the moment.

I can contribute, some Fridays, after work ! ;)

It would be useful to create a todo list of the unfinished page, no ?

We had a todo list (in the wiki). But we do not use it to check updates.
I will update the master completely, I've just started today. I'll try to focus on the master (not 2.1 and 2.2...).
I have started with the book/controller page and I'll check every doc, comparing with today English version. So, if you want to help, start from the end (docs are shorter)

I will be a hard and long work, but I would like to be up to date at least for the master branch.
Thank you by advanced, any help would be appreciated, even if you translate just one doc :)
