Display matrix.to links as local contact names

I want to see what room or contact a matrix.to link targets more easily when it comes up in a chat. Maybe the contact name or room name could be displayed as the link text? This is helpful when people try to link to other Matrix entities inline, especially when pasted in from elsewhere.
