Enable binder modules

Opened this issue · 0 comments

When trying to run Waydroid (containerized android apps on linux) on my t2-ubuntu install on 2018 mac mini, it reports this error:

Failed to load binder driver
modprobe: FATAL: Module binder_linux not found in directory /lib/modules/6.9.7-4-t2-noble
Binder node "binder" for waydroid not found

ArchWiki has a detailed page on configuring linux for Waydroid.

You need to run a kernel which comes with the binder modules. They are not part of Arch Linux's default kernel
