Screen cover for privacy protection (Conceptual Idea)

JoxCoswit opened this issue · 0 comments

Hi Gaku,

I got this idea when I was a couple of times outside/outdoor with laptop.
The idea occurred to me about to have some screen cover as privacy protection.

The point is that it does not have to be exited or minimized to the taskbar everytime.

It is always approachable, and ready, and also available for working task.
It is just covered with a simple type of protective shield like screen protection.
In order to preserve and protect privacy in public places-mettings etc.

If you think it might be useable anything of it you can freely redefine according to your own opinion.

** This issue will be closed soon, it's just a present the possible concept. **

First variety, with password - password prompt:
Password protection + keyboard

  • when password are entered, the protection is removed.
  • nothing duplicated, simple password.

lock with icon or keyboard shortcuts, unlock with password.

2 pass1

Second variety, without password - only button:
Button protection + keyboard

  • when the unlock button is clicked by mouse, the protection is removed.
    or
  • unlock with keyboard shortcuts (quick lock-quick unlock)
it is not necessary to manually press the unlock button with mouse

lock with icon or keyboard shortcuts, unlock without password.

The third variety, without password - only icon:
Icon protection + keyboard

  • when the icon lock is clicked by mouse, the protection is removed.
    or
  • unlock with keyboard shortcuts (quick lock-quick unlock)
it is not necessary to manually press the lock icon with mouse

lock with icon or keyboard shortcuts, unlock without password.

And finally,

An example of how a padlock icon can be placed inside the toolbar, which would lock - that is, activate this protection.
