some selected status, click input box and outside of input or pulldown list, selected value changed to first one

Good Day !
It Very usefule Partial match combobox with List, but It have some Issue.

step

1. select some
2. in already some selected status,
3. click input box
4. and outside of input or pulldown list,
5. selected value changed to first one, not 1 or 2 status.

just give up select action , use loose before select value.

Is it some not wanted action or some other concept?
