[TP]: Career Partner indication

Context/background

Talent Team will implement new Career Partnership Packages. We guarantee our Career Partners more visibility in comparison to other hiring companies. The idea is that they pay and we share updates about the companies and their job opportunities in return.

In the Talent Pool, we would like to promote job postings from Career Partners. This means that job postings of those Career Partners should appear first in the “browse section” of the job listings. They only appear first if they also meet the search criteria and will not be blindly promoted. These job listings should not be labeled or have a different appearance than the other job listings. This means, that it won’t be visible to job seekers whether a post is from a career partner or not.

Also, browse job postings page that is currently visible for job seekers should not be visible for the companies.

What needs to be done?

The Partnership Manager (Janis) should be able to indicate a company as a Career Partner by clicking on a designated checkbox in Salesforce, labeled "Career Partner." It is important to ensure that the company cannot influence this selection, and thus, no corresponding checkboxes should be available for them in the TP.

Upon selecting the "Career Partner" checkbox, the following modifications should take place:

From the job seeker's perspective:

  • Job seekers should be presented with career partner job postings as a priority before other job postings.

From the company perspective:

  • On the company's profile page, some indicator should be added to highlight their status as a Career Partner. This information should be visible only to the respective company. Some ideas: golder frame, badge..

  • A message should be displayed exclusively to the company, informing them that their job postings are prioritized over those from other companies. For example, this could be achieved by changing the label "Job Postings" to "Your job postings are prioritized over others."

image **Or** popover window to be created that will tell the company that As they are the Career partner - their job postings are prioritized for job seekers. Companies will be able to close this window.

We can also propose some other solution, that won't take too much of our workload.

This ticket should go live by approx.15.01.2024

Thank you!

So how it will look taking into account the designs and the last discussions:

  1. A special checkbox in SF called "Career Partner" is to be created. The Partnership Manager (PM) will manually click on it when the company becomes a partner.
  2. Two additional fields to be created in futuer: Start date and End date of the partnership. PM will manually enter data there, Ghaid to check this with Sales5.
  3. For now we are using a Static data "Since 2024".

When PM clicks that box from part 1, the following modifications will take place:

From the job seeker's perspective:

Job seekers should be presented with career partner job postings as a priority before other job postings.
The logic behind that is that if there are several career partners we stick to the existing sorting (by date posted/reposted), so as a result: First all CP postings, then all postings from non-CPs. e.g.:

  • CP Posting (updated Jan 30)
  • CP Posting (updated Jan 25)
  • Non CP Posting (updated Jan 30)
  • Non CP Posting (updated Jan 25)

From the company perspective:

A special Career Partner box will be displayed on the Company profile page with the following info:

Since 2023 - info is taken from the field in SF.
8 jobs posted means active + expired. Deleted ones should not be calculated here.
