Hi Tyler,

Sorry that I didn’t get a chance to hear your presentation. But I read through your poster and I really like your project. Here are my thoughts on it:

In terms of design and layout: your poster incorporated all important sections and introduced your project in a comprehensive way. I like that you have three separate sections for the conclusion, limitation, and next step. One minor suggestion is, you could introduce/clarify some key terms, for instance, the FLEE environment, to the audience to facilitate understanding.

In terms of visualization: I really liked the visualizations of the FLEE environment and your simulation steps. They were very eye-catching and greatly helped me understand your research. However, it might be even better if you could also visualize the geographic distribution of the forced displacement and your own simulation on a map to facilitate better understanding.

In terms of content: I am sure that the forecast of forced displacement volume and geographic distribution is of vital importance, particularly to policymakers. Yet as a social science research, you may also want to introduce a little bit literature and/or background to make the significance of the research even more pronounced.

In sum, good work – Wish you all the best of luck with the final paper!
