Does this work on the TI Nspire CX (non-CAS version)?

I just bought a 2011 edition TI Nspire CX (non-CAS) on eBay for hacking and use in my college calculus/differential equations courses, and it arrived today. I wanted to know if I need the CAS version to run Linux. I have yet to see it running on a regular CX and would very much like to run Linux and help with any development I can (I'm going to school for software engineering). Thanks for your hard work! :)

Yeah, it should run fine on non-CAS versions.
