md5sum mismatch on pypi.python.org

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. md5sum on code.google.com: 9501be67448bf8f673ad3f68e6d3cd22
(http://pypi.python.org/packages/source/h/httplib2/httplib2-0.7.4.tar.gz#md5=1ef
27e7b9225fd0941e3134ce8b46128)
2. md5sum on pypi.python.org: 1ef27e7b9225fd0941e3134ce8b46128
(http://httplib2.googlecode.com/files/httplib2-0.7.4.tar.gz)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
md5sum's should match.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
This is for the 0.7.4 version.
Please provide any additional information below.
I contacted the maintainers of pypi.python.org and they suggested I contact you
about this.

This problem is also evident in the 0.8 release. Why are the checksums
different?
It causes serious problems when mirroring, say, with pypimirror, which may
apparently go deep and get the package from here, but use the md5 from
pypi.python.org.
