classic: failure of suite-wrap-up test point is reported very silently

This tap output: https://gist.github.com/isaacs/dd55fec6402bf64585cd
leads to all passing suites, and no errors reported, but then the total is reported as 227/229 with 2 mysterious failures.

Note: the underlying issue is resolved on tapjs/tapjs@f477c87, but still, this is the wrong way to handle this kind of tap input.
