I've created an account on a https://eos-account-creator.com/ website
I can see that account on "EOS Authority" website
https://eosauthority.com/account/dodd2ledger1?network=eos
The mac app is stuck on this step:

https://eos.greymass.com - operated by Greymass
Probably not wallet app's fault.
