Opensuse tumbleweed cannot install Joplin

Closed this issue · 2 comments

Hey guys and girls.

I'm up against following issue trying to install Joplin via repo.

I am running opensuse tumbleweed, snapshot version 20201012

When I run sudo zypper install joplin

> sudo zypper install joplin

Resolving package dependencies...

Problem: nothing provides libcanberra-gtk2 needed by joplin-1.2.6-1.suse.tw.taw.x86_64
Solution 1: do not install joplin-1.2.6-1.suse.tw.taw.x86_64
Solution 2: break joplin-1.2.6-1.suse.tw.taw.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies

Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/c/d/?] (c):

The available libcanberra are:

zypper se libcanberra

Is this something I can fix myself or does this require update from repo maintainer?

Thanks in advance!

1.5 years later, same problem here. However, selecting "Solution 2" makes it install and work fine here, I didn't try any sounds though.

Is this still an issue?
