Giver for Windows

Please make the Windows version of Giver! It's awesome, and it's made in
Mono, similar to .NET, so it shouldn't be so hard.

Can't get my wife to leave Windows, but would like to share files over the home
LAN.

No need for everybody to add "I agree" comments. This will get fixed if
somebody
provides a patch for it. Giver is not actively maintained, so the only fixes
and
enhancements are going to come from outside contributors.

Is this how a summer of code works? money is made available to pay people to
bring a
project to fruition, but not to maintain it?
How can we find a developer to add windows functionality, this would be a GREAT
way
to get more people away from windows (i.e gradualy). HINT HINT GOOGLE!!!

Giver was not a Summer of Code project; it was a Novell Hack Week project,
started by
a Novell employee who ended up not having time to maintain it. These things
happen,
but there's no need to point the finger at Google.
