Failed to start: Idconfig failed (256)

When installing on
Kubuntu 24
using the gnome appstore and the
flatseal package from flathub,
the app fails to start up with
Idconfig failed, exit status 256.

Sure that is fails on Idconfig and not ldconfig?
Can you run flatpak run --command=echo com.github.tchx84.Flatseal 'Hello'. Does it fail too?
Do other flatpaks work?

Other flatpaks and the command work.
It seems to only appear on a launch from Gnome software on first install
