Floating lava with sky islands world type

When starting a world with any sort of floating islands preset, I get lots of floating lava generating on the bottom layers of the world. This happens with the preinstalled world type 'floating islands' as well as some custom presets; it doesn't happen without this mod.
Mod version: 3.0.0
Forge version: 36.0.58
Mods installed: Abnormals Core, Atmospheric
Steps to reproduce: Start a new world with the world type floating islands.
