Add task should be able to take in task progress as a parameter
Opened this issue · 1 comments
Currently I have to do an addtask command followed by an updateprogress command to update my task progress, and there is no way for me to add in a task that is pending immediately even if I already started on it. Situations like this can be quite common where I may have started working on a task already but I do not have access to FAKEJARVIS and can only add the task in later.
Team's Response
Thank you for raising this issue. However, we would like to refer you to the CS2103T website on this matter.
As shown in the image above, flaws "can be considered NotInScope if rectifying it is less important (based on the value/effort considerations) than the work that has been done already". As you mentioned, users can still use the updateprogress
command, meaning that there is still a way for them to update task progress. While this is a good consideration for us to add in the future, we believe that rectifying this is much less important compared to the current value. Based on value considerations, the current features have rather simple solution to the problem you raised (updateprogress
after adding the task).
Warmest Regards,
Team F.A.K.E.J.A.R.V.I.S.
