As the wider community is moving to the main branch convention to replace master we should do the same. Following guidance from github/renaming, it should be a seamless process, but take this issue as a "warning" about the upcoming migration.
The switch will happen some time on the 30 September 2021.
Hopefully it will be a seamless process, but due to muscle memory or some automation you might still be filing against the old branch, so just be wary.

This happened a bit later than 30th of September, but at least it was plenty of notice I guess.
