It seems that this bug usually doesn't happen and it may have been user error like mistyped path, etc. . We should still verify that this bug can never happen by going through the code.
The error message that was "You have to give exercise name in parameters" or something similar.

It seems that the recent refactoring of WorkDir removed also this problem
