Windows configuration update stopped it working

Opened this issue · 3 comments

I got this working for all of 2 hours (was the only reason i installed the Dev version) then Windows Update installed this "Windows configuration update" https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/may-24-2023-windows-configuration-update-cae8524a-4b62-4d38-bb67-f070bd282fff
Then it all went away and no matter what I try I can't get it to work. On Build 23466.

Anyone else have this issue ?

Windows 11 build 23466 already has never combine taskbar button, you can use it using Settings or enable it using ViveTool if it not enable by default.

ViveTool

I tried that (vivetool /enable /id:29785186) didn't work. Settings aren't there. Microsoft say it will "roll out" whatever that means, could be days, weeks months years for all i know.

Very late reaction, I know, but on build 23526 for Arm64 I can confirm that it is there.

I am in the Insider program on that.
Seems strange, but maybe that is needed?

Hoping they will put it in regular builds for x64 and Arm64 soon.
As Arm64 was build from scratch, I have low hope that i.e. ShellFrosting is able to make it available there.
