Pushing to WordPress w/o Changelog

Issue description:
Hey guys,
Probably not a good idea to push changes to WordPress before you push a Changelog here on GitHub, since this repository is linked from the WordPress plugin update page.
Version used:
4.1.1
Using theme_mods or options?
theme_mods
PHP error messages that might be related
JS error messages that might be related
Code to reproduce the issue (config + field(s))

Looks like this is still an issue.
We can see 5.1.0 is released with no changelog available.

Still an issue, especially for those of us using composer to depend on this in our theme... we'll have to pull dev-master via composer which is not ideal. Please publish a release using GitHub releases and a changelog. Thanks!
