Xfce notification transparency is too high

When themed, xfce4-notifyd's notifications appear way too transparent and hard to read when there's something behind them

Also unrelated, but is there some way to disable the window glow on dark themes or make it black?

i'm not using/used xfce myself, so feel free to fix the theme or add additional options to it 👍
