Squash all old commits from the HORTON repo

At some point we should get rid of all the old HORTON commits. Cloning the repo just takes too long at the moment.

All the old stuff was just removed. The first commit is a squash of all preceding ones, up to the point where many HORTON2 files were removed. The author of the first commit is "HORTON 2 developers".
