Mark tasks as done in Projects or "Edit Task" views

AFAIK one can only mark tasks as done only from the "Pending" view.
could we add the same checkbox in the other views (e.g., from inside the Projects) or when actually editing that very task?
If you don't have time implementing that, could you give me some guidelines to do this myself and then make a PR for it?

I'm looking forward to this feature too. It will be helpful if there are a lot of tasks.
