[Web-Ext][Bug] Sync tab shows "And you're done" but Elevate extension still thinks it needs a first sync
Opened this issue · 2 comments
Describe the bug
Sync window reports "Updating your last synchronization date... And you're done. " but does not auto-close. Clicking the Extension button in Chrome then shows "This feature requires activities and none has been found." and the sync button still says 'First sync' when clicked.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to Elevate Extension
- Click on Sync button
- Click on 'Start sync'
- Wait...
Expected behavior
All activities to be synced, sync window to auto-close and elevate extension to then show Activities and auto-sync in the background.

Environment
- Linux (Fedora 36)
- Chrome Version 103.0.5060.134 (Official Build) (64-bit)
- Web extension version 7.0.0-beta.5 / Build 20220525.c5033a2b
Additional context
Despite not auto-closing and the sync-button / icon always making it that first sync is not complete if I then click on Fitness Trend or Year Progressions then they show correctly and going back to activities then shows activities.
However, this still leaves me having to wait for a 'full sync' to get new activities - although this is now done to ten's of minutes rather than the several days it took the first time.
This issue has been automatically marked as stale because it has not had recent activity. It will be closed if no further activity occurs. Thank you for your contributions.
I am also seeing this behaviour.
