@cored thanks for reporting this. This error is related to our recent move from upcase.com to thoughtbot.com/upcase. In doing so, the application is now served by Fastly (our CDN for all of thoughtbot.com) which proxies requests to /upcase to the Heroku app. This error occurs when the Heroku app doesn't respond in a timely manner.
You may have just hit this as we were deploying, although we bumped the timeouts such that this error shouldn't come up at all, so I'm still a bit surprised. I'll keep an eye on this.
We didn't hear of this issue again, so I will be closing this thread. Rafael please let me know if you are still having problems, and I'll look into why they are still happening. Thanks!
