Maintainers Wanted

Dear users and contributors,

For several years I was not able to find the time to maintain and fix this library properly as the issues list of currently 247 and counting can reflect that.

Currently my schedule, other projects, other priorities in life and motivation sometimes block me to invest more of my little free time I have in the project.

Some months ago I even started during a weekend + some vacation days to rewrite the library to use HTML5 drag and drop and to enable drag and drop between 2 different instances (most requested feature). But after that few days again the project got put in the backlog for my next vacation time when I can continue.

I simply ask for you understanding and compassion that I cannot maintain and do all the work myself on my free time.

Any fix you make on the library I can have a look over it in some weekend, do some more smoke tests ,merge and publish new versions with my thanks.

In the future for those who contribute more and get involved on request I can grant them more access to the project.

Thank you to all of you for your contribution and interest in fixing the bugs and adding features in the library over the past years and in the future.

hello,, shall i maintain?

Hello,
Do some work and fix some bugs add new features and then we can chat about repository permissions.

I never said that I will give access to anybody to this repo and npm package.

No offence but, there are plenty of examples on the internet where packages are maintained by a new person and introduce viruses etc.

I am offering a $100 bounty for issue 514 and a $10 bounty per issue resolved (via a for the community useful PR) for the first 10 issues.
