What configuration setting allows to maximize item in available nearby space

If this is my starting layout with 'Push Resize Items' and 'compact left and up' enabled, and I grab the handle at the blue line:

and drag to the left, then this is the end layout:

Is there a setting that automatically maximizes item 2 to fill the available space like this:

And similarly, maximize in the vertical direction:
