Ok. Tried it out really quick. Got the following error:
GET foo
java.sql.SQLException: java.sql.SQLException: redis.clients.jedis.exceptions.JedisAccessControlException: WRONGPASS invalid username-password pair or user is disabled.
I have not configured a username or password as my local Redis does not have one.
