Windows installer populate the Publisher field

One last suggestion is to have your installer populate the Publisher field that gets displayed in “Add or Remove Programs”, instead of unknown. This is more of a quality-of-life issue, and will help organizations out that use this field as part of their Asset/License/Vendor management.
