Project Maintenance Status?

It is a bit worrisome to see the last commit was Dec 2018 and as of this issue it is May 2020, two entire years later with no activity. Will there be any more support for this project? There are no alternatives, so not being able to use this project would be a bummer.
Are there any specific reasons as to why there has not been any activity? How open are you to pull requests?
Hey @kferrone, very open to pull requests! I think it kind of just works, and so many folks have been using this project as is.
@mikehaas763 Ok cool, just making sure before we dedicated a bunch of time into it. I was wondering about BeforeAll and AfterAll hooks, there are none in this project. I've already forked and took a stab at adding them. I just got stuck on understanding the step-binding-flags, not what I expected . . . Wish me luck.
Yes, this project grew out of an experiment with TypeScript decorators to see if I could build something that presented an API surface that was more akin to SpecFlow in the .NET ecosystem. I didn't expect the uptake that it has received from other folks if I'm completely honest.
The intent was to provide a very thin veneer over CucumberJS, but both TypeScript and CucumberJS have evolved quite a lot since I first wrote this.
I don't work much with Node.js anymore - having returned to .NET (Core), and family life at the time (had a new child) sort of took over much of my free time back then. With that, @mikehaas763 offered to come on board as a maintainer.
Will certainly try and take a look at PRs if I can.
It's a cool project! I liked it right away because I made a project for the same reasons: kferrone/ts-convict. 😎
I'll give some PR love to the best of my abilities, I may need a few pointers though. Cheers to cool codes!
Hi @timjroberts I would like to volunteer to maintain this as well. I have used it quite intensively in one of the project for my company. No major problem found so far but would be happy to grow this more up to date.
