This is similar to #243 but perhaps similar limitations do not apply to MacOS?
It would be very useful as recent versions of MacOS have removed detailed BT information and Bluetooth Explorer, making troubleshooting a lot harder.
Also might be a good idea to show toast when headphones switch to SBC mode.
IDK what the relevant APIs would be but it's possible to see codec information in system logs and configure them with defaults command as per https://gist.github.com/dvf/3771e58085568559c429d05ccc339219
