During the Rewrite (#22), extensive work was done to make VCS support smarter, but it was not implemented within the CLI since it must be extended to allow other VCS later. Because of this, tests added will not get the default .gitignore file at this moment. This can lead to people adding their temporary directories to their VCS by accident.
