Please do not use hard links and do not touch Fort's SQLite files.

You can backup the whole profile folder by doing:

  • Quit from UI
  • Stop the service by command: sc.exe stop FortFirewallSvc
  • Check that no -wal or -shm files exist in the folder
  • Copy the folder
  • Start the service by command: sc.exe start FortFirewallSvc

Part of the problem should be solved, I wrote a bat script using the "Command Line Shell For SQLite" and to my surprise it didn't appear that resources could not be freed, now I just need to implement a scheduled backup using windows task planning.
