Implement Additional Tests

There are additional tests present that we are not yet implementing; they will likely fail as they are using some of what (I assume) is non-functional code in the query pipeline (namely skip/take). While they are not required for baseline persistence functionality, the enhanced functionality those tests cover is not verified as working.
